Tim Perry

Tim Perry initially joined Practical Law in late 2016 as the Head of Corporate for Practical Law Australia. At that time he had more than 12 years' experience practising at leading law firms Gilbert+Tobin, DLA Piper and Mallesons Stephen Jaques (now King & Wood Mallesons). In his time as a corporate lawyer, Tim advised on public and private mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, joint ventures, restructures, capital raisings, privatisations and other government transactions, corporate governance, directors' duties and commercial contracts.

Tim Pollard joined Thomson Reuters in 2003. He has a background in parliamentary research and journalism, and has worked with legislative content for more than 22 years. Tim also has extensive experience in managing case law and law reports titles. This includes the pre-eminent Commonwealth Law Reports and other authorised and specialist law reports in Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong. Tim now heads our Primary Law editorial group across the region and co-leads our Editorial & Content Operations department.

Elani has extensive experience in management, publishing, commissioning and editing experts’ contributions. Elani and her team of experienced editors focus on analytical and research content, including A to Z of New Zealand Law, Alert24, all commentary products (eg. Adams on Criminal Law, McGechan on Procedure), Forms & Precedents and Workflows.

Stephen Blakeley holds bachelor’s degrees in Law and Arts from the University of Canterbury. He has been involved in legal publishing for over 20 years. He has extensive experience in legal writing and editing Thomson Reuters’ New Zealand commentary law products, specialising in environmental law. Stephen also assists in coordinating the New Zealand Analytical Law team.

Justine Matheson holds a Masters’ degree in library and information services and has been involved in primary law publishing for over 20 years.
